Started TNT in Anchorage. Walks every roof estimate himself and runs the roofing crew. Best person to call about anything that's leaking.
A family contractor.
Built around roofing.
We're a family-run shop in Anchorage that started with roofs and grew into full builds. We still pick up the phone, walk every job ourselves, and stand behind the work with a license, an insurance binder, and a bond.
We started on a roof.
We've stayed on roofs.
TNT Contracting is a family-owned roofing and general contracting business based in Anchorage, Alaska. We started doing roofs: tear-offs, repairs, and re-roofs for friends, neighbors, and referrals across South Central. We grew into a full-service general contractor on the back of that reputation.
Roofing is still the backbone of what we do. It's the work we know cold (literally), and it's what brings most of our customers in the door. But over the years, we've also built homes, shops, hangars, garages, and small commercial buildings, usually because a homeowner trusted us with the roof and asked if we could do the rest.
Why family-owned matters
You won't get a call-center estimator. You won't get a sales rep who disappears the day the contract is signed. The person who walks your roof is on the crew, on the phone when there's a question, and on site the day a punch list gets cleared.
It's a slower way to scale. But it's the only way we've found to keep the work clean and the customers happy enough to refer us.
Built for Alaskan weather
We don't ship Lower-48 specs north. Every roof we install is rated for Alaska snow loads, sealed with ice-and-water shield where it counts, and ventilated for our freeze-thaw climate. Every building we frame is engineered for the loads it'll see, not the ones a builder in Texas would assume.
Anchorage, Eagle River, Chugiak, Wasilla, Palmer, Girdwood. We work the whole South Central corridor.
The people on your roof.
Small team, real names, real phone numbers. The people who quote the job are the people who run it.
Quotes, scheduling, the bond paperwork. Your point of contact for everything that isn't on a roof.
Heads up the general construction side: new builds, shops, garages, and commercial framing. Trade certifications on request.
Four things, every job.
A short history.
