Re-Roofing & Tear-off

Re-roofing is what we do most. If your roof is over 20 years old, has multiple repair history, has lifted shingles or significant granule loss, or has had repeated ice-dam leaks, it's likely past the point where a repair makes economic sense. A full tear-off lets us inspect the decking, fix anything underneath, and give you a roof that'll go another 25 to 30 years.

Every re-roof we do follows the same process. Site walk first, written itemized quote, then a clean install with photo documentation start-to-finish.

How the job goes.

1. Site walk & written quote

   20-minute on-site visit to measure, inspect, and photograph the existing roof. You'll get a line-itemed written estimate within 48 hours: labor, materials, contingency.

2. Tear-off & haul-away

   Existing roofing material stripped to the deck. All debris loaded, hauled, and disposed of. Your yard goes back the way we found it.

3. Decking inspection & repair

   Every square foot of decking is walked. Soft spots, rot, and old fastener damage flagged and replaced before anything else goes on. You get photos of anything we find.

4. Underlayment & ice-and-water shield

   Ice-and-water shield installed at eaves, valleys, and penetrations, six feet up from the eave on most Anchorage roofs. Synthetic underlayment over the rest.

5. Install & flashing

   Your chosen roofing material installed to manufacturer spec. New flashing, drip edge, vent boots, and ridge ventilation as needed.

6. Walk & warranty

   Job-site walk with you to sign off. Final cleanup with magnetic nail sweep. Written workmanship warranty and manufacturer warranty handed over before we leave.
